Balenciaga SS17 “IKEA” Runway Leather Tote Bag

Balenciaga's Men's Spring '17 show was filled with oversized bags in vibrant colors, but one item stood out as particularly familiar. Its cobalt-blue Arena Creased-Leather Holdall , now sadly sold out, resembled one from our favorite, affordable furniture store: the Ikea Frakta bag. It was befitting the lookalike Ikea bag came from from Demna Gvasalia. The designer frequently draws inspiration from streetwear and famously designed the popular Yellow DHL T-Shirt for Vetements. If you've always admired the aesthetic of the iconic Ikea bag, this leather version features a zip closure to keep all of your (presumably numerous) possessions out of harm's way.
