The Blazer CPFM “Sponge by You” collaboration draws from the iconic 1972 basketball shoe. The silhouette is the only thing recognizable after CPFM deconstructs and rebuilds the shoe with loose knit, quilt, fleece and synthetic suede. A combination that bears strong resemblance and feel to the qualities of a sponge. The raw cut edges, asymmetrical patchwork and infusion of unorthodox materials and fabrics gives this piece a DIY look - the Cactus spirit that is barely contained in the constructs of the classic blazer.
